Top 10 Worship Albums of 2012

By Wisdom Moon on December 27, 2012

As the Founder of AllAboutWorship.com I get to hear tons of new albums every year, both from record labels and independent artists. Below are my picks for the best worship albums released in the year 2012, in alphabetical order. I must admit, it was very difficult narrowing it down to just 10 albums! (You can click on the album title to preview or purchase in iTunes.)

Jesus At The Center (Live) - Israel & New Breed
This was probably the most musically diverse worship album I heard this year. This live album features a ton of amazing talent and songs.

Live From New York (with Martin Smith) - Jesus Culture
This album is a collaboration between one of the pioneers of modern worship (Martin Smith) and one of the most influential worship bands of today (Jesus Culture).

Season One - All Sons & Daughters
This is the first full-length album from this amazing duo, featuring songs from their first 2 EP’s as well as new songs. Their raw vocals and unique sound are sure to draw you in.

The Heartbeat - Bellarive
I was instantly captured by this album by this new band that I had never heard before. Songs that draw you into closer intimacy with God, with production that does not disappoint.

The Narrow Road - Jared Anderson
If you’re looking for an album loaded with both upbeat and intimate corporate worship songs that are fitting for worshippers of all ages, be sure to add this to your library.

The Same Love - Paul Baloche
In my opinion, this is the best worship album to date from this well-respected worship leader/songwriter.

The Worship EP - Ben Woodward
This is a refreshing six-song EP from indie worship songwriter born in New Zealand, raised in Australia, and residing in the U.S.

Unhindered - Unhindered
I stumbled upon this band and album while listening to music on MOG. I've been hooked ever since.

Where I Find You - Kari Jobe
One of the most prominent voices of modern worship, this new album does not disappoint.

You Are The Fire - Dustin Smith
A quickly emerging voice in worship music, this is a powerful live album, produced by Michael Farren and Kyle Lee, you do not want to miss.
