Live Interview with Bobby & Rachel Taylor
I've known Bobby Taylor for a few years now. He is a local worship pastor here in Kansas City. However, it was not until later on that I found out that his wife, Rachel, is the daughter of Keith Green - a bold Christian artist in the 1970's and 1980's who made a huge impact with his music and ministry...until he died of a plane crash in1982. (You can read more about Keith Green here.)
Bobby and Rachel just released an EP, which I've had a chance to listen to. It is a great album! Here's a little excerpt from their bio on their Facebook page:
Bobby and Rachel have been writing songs together and praying for the right time to do something with their music. In 2012 they felt the release to begin working on a project. The heart driving the project is to make songs available to the local church, for the local church. Songs that we can all sing together. It was also on their hearts to do a few of Rachel’s dad’s songs and to make them a little more congregational, tying together the generations with this great heritage.
Here's a short video of them talking about the project:
We are excited to interview them live tomorrow (9/5) at 3:30pm CST on Google Hangout. You can watch us live right here. (We will embed the video below when we go live.) You will also be able to watch the recording of the interview, in case you are not able to join us live:Comment on Facebook Comment on Twitter
