Matt Redman New Album Review
He has done it again! Matt Redman, a songwriter who has helped shape modern worship, has released another extraordinary worship album. Redman is known for writing congregational worship songs such as "Better is One Day", "Heart of Worship", "Blessed Be Your Name", "You Never Let Go", among many others.
Redman's ability to write singable songs with theological accuracy has impacted thousands of churches worldwide. Co-writers on the new album, We Shall Not Be Shaken, include Beth Redman (his wife), Chris Tomlin, Jonas Myrin and Matt Maher. I am positive that many of the songs from this album will be used across continents and denominations.
Some of the songs that stand out to me are: "We Shall Not Be Shaken" (title track that is so relevant today), "The Glory of Our King" (a great upbeat song), "How Great is Your Faithfulness" (choir song), "Rememberance" (soft communion song), and "Gloria" (a powerful, fresh song about the greatness of God).
You can listen to samples, purchase individual tracks, or purchase all 12 tracks on iTunes:
You can then download the chord charts for free at Redman's website.
Here's Redman talking about the title track (and my favorite track on the album), "We Shall Not Be Shaken":
If you've listened to the album, we'd love to hear your thoughts.
