Memorizing Your Worship Set

This article is a part of a new feature on our site. It is a series we call "The Leadership Roundtable" - where a team of "experts" take a question that was submitted and answer it here on our site so that it may help others out there that may have the same question. Question: Any tips on how to memorize worship songs?

Answer: I memorize by sections (i.e. intro, verse, chorus, bridge, interludes). Each section always has a pattern, it's just recognizing the pattern. Lyrically I find if you really disect the song and get it in your heart, it's easy to memorize. You realize each line or verse means something and get that in your heart. Meditate on what it's saying and what it means and I guarantee you won't forget it ; )

That's what works for me!
